40Ten Canton

40TEN is Baltimore’s first modern mass timber office.

This office is part of The Collective, a mixed-use development by 28 Walker in Baltimore’s Canton neighborhood. The 4-story building features three stories of mass timber construction above a concrete podium, with Glulam post & beam framing supporting DLT panels and CMU shear walls as the primary lateral force resisting system.

Partnering with Moseley Architects and Chesapeake Contracting Group, StructureCraft provided Engineer of Record services for the complete structure, as well as fabrication, supply, and erection of the timber superstructure.
