Oregon State University Peavy Hall

The College of Forestry at the Oregon State University sought an inspiring environment for their forestry students. The new Peavy Hall in the Forest Sciences Complex allows students, faculty and staff to see and explore first hand the potential of wood. Constructed of cross laminated timber and enveloped in glass and accoya treated wood, the building offers innovative classrooms, laboratories, meeting spaces and offices. The hall is part of three interconnected buildings. Areas of the existing Richardson Hall support the new Peavy Hall (80,000 sf.) and the new Advanced Wood Products Center for AWP (20,000 sf.). Landscaped beyond is an arboretum where students can experience a living classroom.
