Framework @ Block 10

Framework @ Block 10 will be Houston’s first mass timber office building, and Texas’s first commercial office targeting net zero operational carbon. Architect Gensler designed the building for Hicks Ventures with StructureCraft as the structural engineer. The beauty and efficiency of wood will be displayed by the exposed dowel laminated timber (DLT) floor and roof panels, supported by glulam columns and beams. The project is slated to break ground later this year, with completion of the timber superstructure targeted for 2024.
